Can a Jewish Independent Senator from a Tiny State Be Elected President?

Not likely, but hearing the critique of our present situation from Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), a progressive intellectual, is likely to improve our politics and marginalize the ignoramuses of the New GOP. His ideas and sympathies deserve wide attention and will move our national conversation away from Fox News gibberish, and toward traditional Democratic values and policies.
